This is way way over due, so with apology.

The 2nd Xmas "party" was held at the Tonkichi Japanese Restaurant at Suntec City, 23th Dec '05.

The attendees are: - Fennie (left), Myself & Ann (right). We have Fen's bf Jim too. His not in the pic.

Pictures are all quite dark, we did not use the flash so pardon them. Which version do u like better? The nerdy specky look or the "meng meng long long" without glasses look? Hee I personally like both of my looks. So rare I can get nicely proper pictures like these.

It was a dinner cum get-a-long session with the sisters. Our 1st one for this year. So this shows how little we get together.

We had sumptous dinner. Huge servings which literally made the 4 of us stuffed pork chops. As in, literally forcing pork chops down the throat.

Servings looks normal here but looks are decieving, had to slowly munch down last piece of pork loin.
Ann had the curry pork fillet set (left) while Fennie & I had the pork fillet & loin set (right). The fillet is such a huge piece, see. I like the loin better. Its so tender, you hardly need chewing before ingesting them. The fillet on the other end has abit more fats (skin) & some chewy texture. Nicely fried breaded pork but it has very little flavours by itself. See that black dish of sauce I ordered? It's miso sauce, has this light sweet taste, goes very well with the meat. They have this sauce that thas a light sour taste that is recommended to go with the meat but I still like the miso sauce better. The small little bowl with the cute pounder are roasted sesame seeds, for u to do some grinding into powder to sprinkle onto the meat before eating. Innovative yeah. Not to mention the fun grinding it and eating the sesame powder fresh. The salad is unique, cabbage shredded into thin stripes and a salad dressing to go with. For a 1st timer, it is quite a unique experience. Minus the over-eating. Hee.
A hearty chat session follows after the dinner with green tea to wash the "ge-lat-ness" down. It didn't took long for me to digest and for stuffed stomach to feel better, thank lord. Ann showed us pictures of her ourdoor weddign shoots, the informal ones and some of her wedding preparation. Weddings can "shrink" a person, look at Ann, she's so tiny now. I told her she looks 5 years younger to me now. Fennie & Jim are growing smaller too. Looks like I am the only one expanding.
I had gifts that night too. We had a xmas gift exchange. Many coincidents: I bought Ann a cute set of porcelein wares for her home, she bought me a cute baby pooh bag. I bought Fennie a white bag, she also bought me a white bag. Ann bought Fennie a grey Tank top, and Fennie gave her a grey top too.
Ended the night and we all went back home to rest before more parties comes for Xmas is round the corner.
Shall write more abt xmas count down when time allows.

It's feeling Xmas in the entire office and in me since yesterday morning.

We have Santa Mamas coming around with gifts and well wishes, making the feelings of the festive hike suddenly.

I have gotten for myself so far: -
1. A glow-in-the-dark silicon gel mug lid with teaspoon holder from my boss.
2. A "whistling I Love you" keychain from Helen, my neighbour aunty colleague.
3. Rochers & Cadbury Froggie Choc from Melody, my colleague as well.
4. Xmas carol singing bear from Sharlene, my colleague.
5. A little yellow hanky from Serene.
6. A candle light holder from door gift at the office Xmas party.
7. A set of blue elle hand and face towel from the department gift exchange.
8. A portion of the gift hamper from the prize winnings from the games we play but I did not collect it before going back to office, so that means I have 1 less goodies to eat. Sob Sob~
9. This morning my team lead was the santa mama with a mechanical pencil. I needed 1 badly. Thank you Esther.

We had office celebration yesterday with some games and a makan session. The games were quite okie, managed to get people from different departments cooperating. 1st game was to gather the list of items the emcee listed. I managed to "loan" my badge cos they needed names starting with K.
The second game was to get the people in the group to line ourselves up from the smallest birthdate to the largest. We won for this game segment. Yippe~
Then the last game was to send 2 representative from each group to perform for the rest and the group with the most catcalls win. My Chief Finance Office (CFO) made great sacrification to act as a coconut tree for babe to hot dance around him. 1. he must be feeling wow wow weee ah inside him or 2. he must be dead worried that photos don't go to this wife in any cases he has "asthma" as well.. "妻管严" Hee.. don't ask me I am not sure if he is married or not.. No idea~

Sadly, they din win. The team that did the Bollywood dance around the tree won.

Food: A great selection of bit size. Had samosa, satay, mini tuna puff, siew mai, bee hoon, chicken mid-wing, turkey ham with pineapple sauce. Mini swiss rolls & choc eclairs for the sweet selection. Bits of pinching here and there, it was good filling up of the tummy as well. I liked the siew mai and ham & sauce best.

Lucky draw to wrap up all the fun and laughters before we went back to work. But I was not that lucky. All the 3 sets of vouchers went to the Pricing team. Kelong loh Mr.CFO~ U din shuffle before u draw.. Damn I think he must not be a App*e Fan~ he dunno simi si call iSh*ffle~ (Names changed in view of loyalty).

Wrapped up and went back to office, settle abit then waited for time to pass. Met Ah Eng at Tampines to pass her her molten choc eclairs followed by Rice Burger dinner at McD, saltish is the word. Din know the chicken patty was this salty. I usually share with my mum and she eats most of the meat so I din know it was that bad. The meal was so filling I could not have space for tang yuan before I fell alseep. So I din eat tang yuan means I din grow 1 year older. Hee hee hee~

So much so for last nite. Work up this morning with super don't feel like working mood. Too much of the festive mood. That's how I ended up writing my blog now when I have some work piled up but I am not clearing them.

Just wanna pass the day and leave for dinner. Party #2 is coming up. Dinner with Ann, Fennie & boyfriend Jim at Suntec. I promised photos but I din bring the cam phone out I forgot. Ann has a cammy so I would try to snap some pix back..

Okie dok.. this much of writing, I am going off to clear work yeah~ I hope~

Time flies, we are ending 2005 in less then 2 weeks time.

In the coming 2 weeks, we have Xmas coming up, follow on by my 28th birthday celebration, then we count down the year and welcome <2006>.

Fast! And I am still in denial that I am hitting 30 real soon~. Like what Alex says I am always sweet 18 (plus 10). Thanx yeah Alex, we oldies need such consolation badly.

Let's do quick run of happenings this year.
(In a random order of my memory capacity)
1. Worked 3 months, rested 7, worked the last 3 off. This shows how poor I am now living off for the 7s. It also shows how "courageous" I was to leave the cosy "stinky" rabbit hole. <= Sounds familiar yeah?
2. Landed myself in a different job nature which till now I am still mastering the ropes.
3. Engaged in a more outgoing lifestyle, where shopping, coffees, makan sessions, movies, drinking and all sorts of funs you can name of are much frequent. I see this as good in a way, cause I feel this year I am socialising more. Bad, cause I tend to stay out late & naturally 1 would spend more unnecessaringly.
4. Still single, still single, still single. (No big deal yeah, especially when I have like moved into my 4th year already).
5. Visiting some pub along the stretch of Boat Quay, engaging in cheap thrills (don't think negative, I merely tease some boss extensively only) indulging in my own world. Like some say going "ga ga" over perky butts.. Hahaha
6. I also started to like kimchi & stuff. (Compliment of Hui and also partially my free time staying at home).
7. My eye sight is deteriorating extensively. At this rates I think I need to sign up for the Blind school very soon liao.
8. The major terrorizing incident which I had documented earlier - "TC Strikes". Sounds like good movies scripts.
9. Found out my opthamologist's age & I am also still in denial. Hee~ He certainly do not look 40's.
10. I've claimed my 1st artist husband. His Korean and dashing. Hee (I nearly cannot think of my #10 to log, luckily the ending I intend to wrap with gave me the inspirations).

Hmmm, coming weekend would be a list of activities coming up. I am so looking forward to.
1. Office Xmas party. It's cross departments so it would be a large group of 150s. I hope to win some prizes in the games.
2. Meeting up the ex Nfs gals for dinner at Tonkichi Jap Resturant. I heard the fried selection, miso & salad are nice. I promise I come home with pictures. Hee.
3. Drinking session #3 at the Boat Quay pub with Xmas countdown & bday bash. I will try to stay sober enough for the nite.
4. Would there be countdown 2005 gals? So far no plans yet. Plan quick yeah gals.

Lastly, a good way to chase off my birthday woes would be this: -
Flowers from Sang Sang. Ermm, No sang sang, got flowers also can. No flowers got sang sang, even better. Sang Sang with flowers - Ideal. Oh~ Dream on. Hiakz. I don't actually need flowers. just that I feel he looks sooooo mesmerizing here. I thought he keeps me companion in my virtual space. *muakz thank you sang sang for ya flowers~* hee~

Okie, back to reality.
Merry Xmas & a Happy New Year friends & family~
Ho Ho Ho~ ~Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow~
