In agony, despair & frustration that I can no longer stomach the sight of a piece of "咸菜" I own in my wardrobe, I took some time to write to the maker this: -

Dear Sir,

I would like to draw your attention to 1 concern I have regarding your quality of the business shirts, your made.

Some time back in September 2005, I'd purchased my 1st Glenhill mid-length sleeve shirt, from Isetan Raffles City. Priced at $69++ close to $70.

With this price paid for a piece of garment, I frankly say I would expect premium quality in it. However, I am sad to inform you that I do not see any of it in the piece I own.

Material: No doubt the material used aint irritating on the skin when worn but my biggest concern here is, it creases way TOO EASILY! Allow me to quote you how easy the fabric creases, minus the handling when the shirt is neatly pressed, the moment one sits down with the shirt on and gets up afterwhich, I would be able to observe the entire lower half of shirt full of folds with a very wrinkled look. Least to mention after a full day of 9hrs spent in the shirt. I am very disappointed to say that it looks just exactly like a washed and wringed dry item. If using a corporate wear is to look neat and presentable, how would you justify that such an inferior shirt be able to fulfil this need?

This has upset me so much that I am comtemplating a refund. Rather being unreasonable it would be more apppropriate to set aside the item and leave it till yellows and down the chute it goes.

Words of mouth as a consumer impacts a business tremendously if you understand where I am coming from. I am sad to say, I have not only stop patronising you and I would also encourage friends around me with better options and more value for money buys. As wise consumers of this age, I truly feel your made has not met my expectations and many others out there, I am very sure.

My purpose of writing in today would serve as a reminder that quality is important especially if you would corresponds it with the monetary factor $$$. I have no reasons to convince myself that I should spend $70 for YOUR business shirt when my usual wardrobe of $25 per piece is exceeding what you people can offer. I sincerely hope that my messages are clearly extended.

Appreciate the time you take to read an email of low importance. Thank you.

Kind regards,
Karen Yeong

PS: A picture paints a thousand word, if you need to fully visualise the indesirable quality that you have. I would be more then gladful to provide a photo of how a 9hr exhaust shirt looks like, on your demand. Thank you again for your time, sir.
Let us just wait and see if they would, and in this event what the response would be like.
I am waiting.
