Went to Little India after work today to experience for the 1st time Traditional Indian Facial Threading.
Boy was it difficult locating the beauty parlour as the address stated Serangoon Road, so there I was like a lost sheep spinning in circles in the midst of many indians trying to locate the place. In devastation, I called them after 20mins of wasted search.
Found the place in no time (silly me I should had called them earlier instead of trying to play Ms Know-it-all). Waited for a while for they had some customers but in no time I was on a journey of a new experience.
I declare I am in love with facial threading!! The lady she simply shaped the best eyebrow I've ever had. So neat so natural. Plus its clean, all fine hair removed. If you compare twizzer pain and thread pain, thumbs up for thread pain. Painful no doubt but fast, removes more hair in whips as compared to 1 by 1 plucking. Cleanliness? Anytime the threading method. The old folks says threading makes the face smoother hence make up last longer on the skin. I would find out this weekend. The hair they say will not grow back to be coarser ones as well. Let's see if I would grow to be like ape-look after multiple treatments or not.30mins and the entire job is done. Thumbs up I have no upper lips hair liao. Yippie, I don't look & feel man-ish no more. Certainly worth the pain and some hot tears cos it was really painful when they thread upper lips. Damage? $15 solid bucks. But I would keep her services for the brow for sure. Cos I'm in love with it.Packed some vegetarian indian food from a restaurant I used to visit before going back. Pls note: never pack indian food home unless you have an expert with you to guide what are nice and not. #2 never pack in excess as you can end up with 12 currys for 2 varieties of indian toasts. #3 never buy indian food home unless your family members knows how to appreciate them. I literally had a hard time pouring out & throwing away curries for a meal. What-a-waste!I lost my lunch bag on the taxi when I was on the way home, with my medication inside. Half finished supply. Sigh, have to get them replaced.Out for now~
