Quickly, let us run thru day 4.
Today the gang of 4 leaves for home at 11am and that leaves the both of us for the remaining 2 days.
Today I've finally get to sleep slightly later then the usual days. Like 9, 9 odd. Woke up slightly fresher then usual. Washed up and Mr. D enagaged his old time gf to meet up for lunch. So happens she works in the building beside the hotel we lodge so it was easy to meet up with her. Meeting Jarr was a simple pleasant experience. Sincere lady, yet another true account of nice thais. We had lunch at the Pasta 'n' Noodles place. My their serving is HUGE. I ordered a Carbonara Pasta and I could only do 80% of it. too rich and creamy to down it despite we had ate nothing cept some chips that morning.

I enjoy talking to Jarr. Though thai, but she does her english fluently. Golf does his well too.

After lunch and some catching up we headed Emporium for an afternoon of slow shopping. Headed back to the hotel to rest abit before heading to siam sqaure again.
I am in love with the Barvian Donut from Dunkin Donuts. Tasty woh and for 19B each only, had 2 in a row. 2 days. :P FAT!

More shopping in siam sq that leads us back to MBK again. This time more buying.. Pirated Le Sportsac for "roy gao gao - 199B" [insert oh my god panda screaming emoticon on behalf of ahui] :P and many other things. but i can never get shoes in bkk after so many days of shopping.. sigh.. not my type. and i can never get to asia hotel to visit naraya too. so thats why i din manage to buy any of those bags i like back too. hmm wheres asia hotel liao huh? i also forgot which train station is it near too liao.

ah hui reminded me to eat milk plus' bread and i saw the pastry shop BUT i forgot to go and try it.. see thats wat happens when u shop in excess.. literally too tired to recall much. and sadly i did not get too much nice thai food too. the best i had and is like still now lingering on the tastebud: the 35B pork balls in spicy soup with glass noodles from paragon. i want another 5 bowls of that now can i? awwww

i guess the accumulated walking from the previous days is really taking a toll on me. i had a super early nite. and deep sleep. :P
despite the slow pace this is also tiring. more of the final day update to come. soon~

As I am re-charging myself with my Koka Cuppa Noodles now I shall give you an update on Day 3 BKK. But b4 1 start. Pls! stick to the flavour of cup noodles u like. I had always been on their Tom Yum and it's always entricing. Today it's chicken soup flavour. I wish I hit Tom Yum flavour at the dispenser earlier.

Okie, Day 3. More tiring. cos it 2 nites in a row where i did not get quality sleep.
we woke up at 8 as usual and gathered at 9am for breakfast.

Today we have a local host to show us around and there he was 930am at the hotel cafe with his gf.
Presenting : Mr. Piyamanoset & his gf.

That's his family name if you people must be wondering. Fortunate for him. His aunt gave him an English name so we did not had a hard time addressing him. Unfortunately, his aunt called him "Golf" I almost introduced myself as "Tennis" :X joke aside. Kib is the gf. Have husband and Wife look? Ah eng says have. I feel same same :P

Off we set out for another Amazing Race BKK day. Hired a taxi and our dear guide for the day fiak some thai to bring 3 of us to the destination, the other 3 packed themselves into his car. 30mins later we are in Bobae Tower. Wholesale tower where you would see many vendors come and buy in bulk stocks and tourist like us who gets slash throat. I picked up 2 t-shirts as gifts here and when they present me the price chart i nearly drop jaws. 1piece 180B. buy a dozen 55B each.. what the what the what the? 70% of the selling price for wholesales?
$#$%#&%*&^ but i aint no business woman. so LL to be slashed. There aint much things to buy here frankly so we did not stay for too long. I picked up 1 piglet for myself here too.. shall get piglet mei to show face one of this days yeah =)

next stop, lunch. Swensen at the Central World Plaza. the former World Trade Centre. Under renovation now and very messy. One thing abt western food here is very economical. 130B for a set meal (choice chicken, pork or fish) plus free flow salad bar. I took the pork. Very nice. Ever eaten tender pork thats grilled with sweet sauce? Juicy meat. Very typical thai flavour. sweet. It was a nice meal indeed. =)

after food. we walked over to the erwan shrine aka 4 faced bhudda. some prayed while some of us hang around to look at the scenes. they have interesting culture where the young gals will dress up heavenly in bright colours hair accessories and nice make up to dance and sing to the goddess. if you want to pray in that manner, i think you can pay some money and they will write down ur name and these ladies would chant in singing to the goddess while u kneel down to sincerely ask for ur blessing. i was told "tian niu" she actually had her wishes come true and she enclosed the surrounding area and danced topless for the goddess as offering. so i examined the place and found it almost difficult to entirely enclose the whole area and the BTS line was just up the site. I think the train riders must had had a feast that day. some may even do multiple trips :X joking.

after erwan shrine. more shopping. off to the pratunam market and then the platinium fashion mall. nothing in pratunam for sure. plenty in platinium but due to time constraints we had to rush thru to leave the building to head back to sukhumwit for dinner at 8pm.

but i like platinium mall. very new, just opened this feb. air-coned. price is around the market prices. wide variety and organised. its like shopping in bugis cept you can bargain. picked up slippers from my bro here..

730pm we left for dinner.

next stop: Spring and Summer at Sukhumwit Soi 39

pardon the dark pic but i hope you can make up the pic. otherwise visit
here.
it was a special arrangement done by our dear host golf in celebration of our birthday girl's ivy 25th.
Our dear fren here was so detailed that he called his friend up to ask for a nice ambient place to dine in. Indeed it was a wonderful selection. Dinner in summer restaurant where u eat in dim warm orange lighting and nicely decorated place. high ceiling, huge book shelve facing the entrance and a bartender counter. traditional thai food with english setting very fusion. very nice. some wine and lazing on the long couch. very good way to ease away the entire day of tension from the madness shopping.

after dinner. out to the summer cafe.
you get to sit in the open air on cushions and u drink with ur back lied down, counting mini stars on a greeny grassland. very romantic. how nice a setting rite to celebrate your bday. golf is such a romantic boy. =) and very detailed. that's what i like in the thais. very genuine people. he also mentioned its difficult to find houses with grassland and such a huge pouch in bkk. so its a rare gem indeed. alittle abt the building i read. it was built in the mid 1900s and a thai actor bought over the land to renovate the place into a restaurant. i chanced upon the owner by chance as well. complimentary of golf pointing out his presence.
oh and peep at the cake. sinfully chocolate. very sinful but very difficult to resist. =)
some lazing around chatting after the dessert under the stars before we call it a nite =)
the happy faces of the 8s =)

They say holidays are rejuvernating, I do not think likewise, especially if your destination and kakis are shopping freaks.
Day 2, we started at 9am at the hotel lobby for breakfast. Had to wake up at 8am to shower so that we had ample time to prepare. The nite before, I hardly sleep. 1st I was on the left hand side of the bed and I kept feeling its sunken in. Went into bed at 230am the nite before and at 430am I was still tossing and turning around semi conscious mode. So finally at 430am after waking mr. D up for many times we decided to swap position.. place i mean :p (psst i kept thinking the bed was empty beneath and there could potentially be a body!!)
No better, the right hand side bed was firmer but now I keep getting nitemares and pespiration despite the aircon is cold. I thought I could be so lucky to be so be "surrounded" by "good friends" that keeps disturbing me and refuse to let me sleep plus prior to the trip, my "nice" friends had been telling me about "friends" present in the hotel rooms and how to sight for their presence. I was somewhat disturbed.
With max only like an hr of shallow sleep, the next day was really hectic.
4 sets of breakfast for selection on the cafe menu, we wallop breakfast in 30mins and off we headed to the BTS to catch the train to Mo Chit Station, far end of the line. Chatuchuk Market here we come. BTS is still the best mode to travel. packed but its clean air cool conditioning and fast no jams. roads in bkk is atrocious. air gives black nasal discharge daily. (i call it "oor kim - black gold")
Chatuchuk has not changed a slight 5 yrs from then. Still as huge, I cannot recall 6 or 8 soccer field size. Still as crowded and the hot sun to top it. 4 hrs of non stop walking and I think I barely covered half the area.
Buys here: For myself: 2 sequins blouses - 550B, 1 pair of slippers for change - 50B, Ah eng's souvenior and sour lychees - 30B. The sour lychees thou juicy went to waste at the end of the trip, too tired to eat anything when u go back to the hotel. we rather hump, then eat. No I mean sleep. :)
The scary 199B gals bought too many things they had to go back to the hotel to unload b4 they continue part 2 of "chopping" (thai people pronouse the word this way). so it was good we got an hr rest and cooling down b4 we headed out again.
talking abt the bangkok sahara hotel located in sukhuwit soi 5, it is really a good buy in my views. room is spacious, located midway up siam and down to the weekend market. 5mins slow stroll to the Nana BTS station, 24hr supermarket at the neck of the soi, massage parlours, internet places, shops and nite stalls set up on the streets for more shopping, cafes and restuarants, plenty on the streets, no worries you will starve, clean toilet most importantly and its with a bathtub as well. (vital for karen jie jie - clean sheets & toilet). the only set back is the room is constantly with a hint of ciggie smell which will take some aircon to reduce it and its an arabic and blackie paradise. no harrassments or insecurity of any sort thou. very safe to even travel at wee hrs and little prostitution observed. definately a thumbs up for future stays.
okie back to part 2 shopping: Mahbronkrong (MBK) S.C
dropped by at siam paragon's food court for late lunch with mr. D 1st b4 we join the rest. waited for them to do lunch together but they went to do streetside stall 20B fried chicken noodles leaving the 2 of us starved to insanity.
i like the money handling system in the foodcourts in BKK. they run coupons systems where in older malls, they sell u a stack of 100B coupons and u tear the exact amount to pay for your food at the stalls. the modern malls like siam paragon now uses smart cards. you refund your balance after your meals. this way they dont handle money. hygenic, i like.
i had meatball glass noodles in spicy soup and i added more dried chilli to it. super ped (ped = spicy) i like~ and vietnam rice roll w prawn and tuna. the sauce and mint leave w succulent veges is nice. 50B for 6 rolls. Noodles 35B/bowl. inexpensive and vvv filing =)
got mr. D stewed pork and fried pork rice with extra egg. he dont like. this man is very picky with food. i cannot stand him. i wish he could apply his food choosing techniques to women. this way he would have lesser women around him. i wish - only if... *shake head*
another madness 3 hrs shopping where the 199B gals fill up their haversack with victories again.
Buys here: Nothing for me.
The evening was ended with a steamboat & ala carte dinner at Coca Restaurant. Coca there is in-expensive and un-tasty as well. per head for dinner is only 250B but the soup base and dishes aint really nice/bland. You can easily get stir-fried veges, 1 whole roasted chicken, charsiew and steamboat "liao" for 250B/head.
Finished dinner and we went back to the hotel.
With the lack of sleep for 2 days, straining my left leg when climbin up the tuktuk the nite before and the amazing race like walking, 4 of us decided we need massage badly. the good thing was about our hotel location is there is a very good massage parlour juz 2mins away. checked the price out and soon we were checked in already. 400B for 2hrs traditional thai massage. 299B for traditional foot massage. we make reservation for 4 packs and zoomed back to the hotel to wash out legs clean. me fen and mr. D opt for 2hrs rubba while jim who was battling with sleep monster opt for foot. the 400B was definately good investment.
the massuers after collecting payment would lead u to the underground if u are doing the body massage while the foot massage stays at the ground floor. a set of PJ for u to change out and they let u lie down for the next 2 hrs.
both legs the masseur took 1 hr to soothe them for us. and miracle-ly the tuk tuk strain was almost gone. the following hr was back and head massage b4 they end with the "famous" break ur bone position where they stretch ur whole spinal and back, masseur underneath u. imagine u were 110kg, u better tips her other wise she would have to "toh tiap" herself for straining her back stretcing u :P
our 2nd hr massage, send 3 of us asleep. i hear mr. D snore, fennie too. me, i drooled when lying on the side of my head. unglam. the head massage was memorable. the masseur tugged my hair several times despite i was semi-conscious. i could sense some ah-lian cat fighting me like tat. play the tug hair type of fighting. lucky never tug 1 patch of hair off. :P
went back to the hotel thinking i could get a sound sleep after the good rubba but i was wrong again. the shower freshen me up and i was up disturbing the man at wee 3am again. if u think he is poor thing always having a woman whispering in his ears when he is trying to sleep, then you are wrong. cos comparing what he does to me his is more devilish.
day 1 of the trip he has been pissing me off. started with nonstop calls on my home and mobile line after i sms to find out if he has woken up to catch the flight or not when i was like in the showers midway. can u imagine the tension with the phone ringing non stop and you trying to get ur shower done and over with fast. when a woman in in a hurry and she has not enough sleep, dont press on any further.
day 2: chatuchuk market. we ended up the animal lanes which i wanted to avoid and this "animal lover" insisted on going in to have a walk so i pleased him by saying i will wait outside the lane. i was damn stupid to make that decision. when i had the 2nd thoughts and rushed in to drag him out risking birdflu from the dunno imported from where birds sellers, his hands was already carassing a puppy in the pan. FFCUK! pardon me~ and i had to force him to wash with the mineral water. thats the least i could do. he ate meat skewers with those hands without thorough wash with soap and water after that. CAN ANY1 TELL ME THE POTENTIAL RISKS I AM PUT TO? IT WAS ONLY DAY 2 AND I HAVE TO LEAVE WITH THIS MAN PERPECTUALLY FOR THE NEXT 3 DAYS. he got his lessons as well to, cos i nagged nonstop the whole of the day afterwhich. i am now back home with a cough and sore throat and flu initially. all farking respiratory related symptoms, no fever yet. mum has the same symptons too. if its full blown birdflu, i tell u this birdbrain man is going to die with me. i make sure i feed him my birdflu infested saliva daily till he comes down with it too. how KUKU can a human get? his apparently more KUKU then the bird species. the same mentality applies when it comes to sexual behaviours which in view of his privacy i shall not discuss! nuff said. this is the sore i am getting on day 2 only. more sores from him to come.. his sores are sore-er then the walking mind you.
off and out and have a good weekend folks~

Thursday, June 01, 2006 ; 12:33 AM

okie dok, updates on the recent getaway I was on.
26th May 2006 - day 1
10am - assembly at the changi international aitport t2, mac for breakfast.
1030am - checked into departure where mr. d went to smuggle ciggies while i vent my whole tummy of anger on the free phone to ah eng.
1155am - rushed from the skytrain area to gate c11 for boarding. boy it was close shave for if it was any later i would have missed my flight.
215pm (thai time) - Landed in "Land of Smiles" checked out and dive straight into the duty free shop. (sorry ah hui - arrival does not give discounts for le sport).
3pm - bought 2x 100B airport bus route A3 tickets. boarded the bus to reach Sukhumwit Soi 11 - walking distance to the hotel. ended up reading the hotel map in a wrong direction and walked 30mins across soi 11 to soi 5 where our hotel was. price to pay for waiting to "taste" the budget travellor way. bad: walking under hot sun with a luaggage. good: bkk street smarter and meeting nice thais who would approach u to give u directions
445pm - checked into the hotel and rested. waited for the rest who were on tiger air to arrive as their flight was delayed for 2hrs. bought toiletries at the nearby supermart meanwhile and took a cold shower to cool it down. 34 deg is nothing fun to cope with.
7pm - rest finally arrived in hotel, check in and rest.
730pm - out on the streets deciding where to go for dinner. am starved. off to yaowarat for sharkfins and birdnest. ate a the chinese resturant scala sharksfin restaurant - the 1 that i was once 5 yrs back. food prices remains but their standard dropped. very heavily seasoned dishes. so thirsty after the meal. birdnest for desserts. 100B for loose nest cooked into porridge texture. pay 1000B up u can get nest in nice shreds. same goes for the fins. 5yrs back - 300B 1 whole fin nicely displayed in claypot. now - loose bites of fins. but you still can get bites of it so it wasn't that bad still. 500B for a fins & nest dinner.
did i say how did i went to chinatown? no right? tuk-tuk. the scary way. i was sitting on the outside (last 1 to get up) and mind you the speed they went plus all his "traffic cutting" dont grip tight = heart at mouth. but it was good experience. our driver was older and more "decent" the other driver who took 3 was younger and more daring. everytime he starts his car from a traffic stop, he would willy his vehicle 15deg up from the grounds. the gals had heart in their mouth and stomach like washing machines. thank god i was not in that car.
the tuktuk drivers suggested after-dinner entertainment. tiger show. 800B per head. we slashed the price at every traffic stop from our hotel to chinatown. finally we agreed to 400B/head x6 head. 200B per trip of tuk tuk. fat wages for them that nite.
off to a "private club" for thai-gals after dinner. the club wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. at least no "waist-up" nude waitress this time. my last visit to 1 of these clubs in 1999 in patpong, i was greeted with dark nipped waitress. not nice - so we walked out and din watch the show.
after much hearing of those acts from people, seeing the show really materialise them all. the hearing part sounds exciting frankly where the stunts they pull are like all so "wow-wow" but when u get to see them, really nothing much.
with the memories i have - let me list the stunts down.
1. ribbon - Thaigal (TG) pulls out a string of neon ribbon from her virginal and ask the audience to tug the ribbon out from the beneath. I think it was easily a 5m ribbon. mind u there, dont help them with their acts cos if u do so they would come to u later and ask u for a tips. by sitting on ur lap or carressing u till u tip them. thats the way they earn the extras.
2. pingpong ball - 1 narrow tumbler on the floor. TG insert pingpong ball into virginal and then squat to drop ball into tumbler. 3 balls in a total. never miss a ball.
3. marker - TG holds a marker with her virginal and write. msgs like hello and things on white paper. same thing they will come to u with the sheet and ask for tips.
4. string of flowers - same as the ribbon act.
5. ciggie smoking - TG can smoke 2 ciggies with her clit. amazing. (sadly i was on the phone - din watched her puffing).
6. whistle blowing - if you din look at her, you could had mistaken it was the Bangkok Traffic Police controlling the traffic. :) minus there was no cars around.
7. candle blowing - TG can jerk air out from her cunt, pass it thru the "bubble-tea" like straw to put off like 8 or so candles 1 by 1. yet another amazing act.
8. coke bottle filling - TG will lie on her back and empty 1/4 bottle of coke into her cunt, get up and hold her virginal muscles before inserting an empty bottle to release the coke into the other bottle. she then repeats it again to fill up 1/2 the bottle. applause. no drips totally. warm coke any1? :P
9. razor blade act - this is the most heard act. stunting-est among all to me. TG would pull out a whole string of razor blades. the old traditional type where its rectangular in shape. with the string of razor in the cunt still she would then use the 1st blade and cut paper origami before finally pulling out the whole string of blades. i've notice they way she stands when she pulls the blade out. very professional. i wonder how she keeps herself from getting cut.
10. banana popper - TG would lie on her back and insert 1/4 peeled banana into her virginal. she would then tell u the direction she is going to pop the banana to and ask that audience to "hop" the banana. she aimed at this ang moh man behind me. i think she would tease the crowd alittle by misfiring a few times. like not flying the distance she wants rather only within her vacinity like after 2 to 3 attempts. so could u imagine the fear i have when i was sitted front row of the ang moh and she misfires. i was so worried i kena hitted by "wet banana". anyway i siam buay hu hiding in my gf's lap when she exerted force to launch the banana out. heng i was not fired at.
11. balloon shooter - same thing like the banana. TG would appoint audience to hold balloons for her while she fire needles thru a tube to burst the balloons. lucky this time the direction was not my side. she missed a few shoots with needles flying around. i was worried to kena the potentially hiv++ needles also. siam meh meh...
12. the "action" lastly. 1 thai man + 1 thai woman. man erected full size when on stage. lights dimmed with spots light on and off. they then perform gymnastic sex. like for half and hour or so. i must say the 2 of them money hard to earn. the turning twisting to change sexual positions are not the norms i would say, try engaging such sex at home with ur hubby / bf i think the 2 of u can visit the chinese physician for 2 solid months. i find the positions and swaps really gracefully done, except they are really doing for the sake of performing. zero sound produced. don expect audio excitment from the gal (the only audio u get is loud techno from the speakers) and expressionless acts. i think they are so seasoned going rounds after rounds nitely they are "numb". i pity the 2 of them too - hard earn money. imagine per hr they have to screw 1 another for tens of humans to watch them and they repeat it a few times a nite. the man must have forward his 30yrs sex life to a short 10yrs if he remains in the industry long enough.
fennie (1 of my gf) asked her bf when they got back to the hotel if he was sexually aroused by the act or not and he said no. i think we bunch are well-disciplined asians. the ang moh on my right was carasseing the 2 TGS in the breasts while the act was going live on stage. In return the 2 TGs managed to "stroke" that dirty ang moh from "ruan ruan banana" to "stiff rod" we could not help not to be distracted as that semi-bald was really too explicit with his act. the breasts kneading act... meanwhile i was told the nigro behind us tore another thai's skirt while he was too sexcited being "rode" on his tool by the gal. i was told he was making funnie noises from the excitement that fennie was so distracted she had to turn to see him being ridden.. how lucky can u get ah. next thing i know was the TG asking if any1 wants to service the nigro.. hard money also. dunno she would be extra tipped for her ripped skirt or not. this nigro also v daring. raw sex with a TG and still wanting more.. *shake head* no wonder HIV cannot be contained. at some point of times the acts going on on the grounds are more "extertaining" then those on the stage. eye opener really.
finished the hr show and we left the "club". the nite was still young and we were reluctant to sleep. so we asked the tuk tuk driver to drop us at the suan lum nite bazzar for late nite shopping. sadly no rewards, bought nothing except juz viewing and browsing. the 2 other gals were already with a few bags when we called it a day. this is juz the start. more horror as i report :)
i call fennie the "roy gao gao" gal now. "roy gao gao = 199B in thai"
over and out now. be back with day 2 happenings real soon~
nite all~
