okie, the day has finally come when Dean & Vel completed Part 4 of their wedding ceremony. Nuff said.

The usual gang gathered at the chinese resturant at Hotel Miramar where the happy couple ushered us with nice food, booze & plenty of laughter. Not to mention plenty of photo-whoring too. Ah eng said that last night event did not feel like a wedding dinner to us. I said ya, with all the "immersed in our own world, fun, laughter world, it felt more like a makan session at G7"

Presenting to you my lousy photo presentation style. The 4 ladies~

; 8:35 PM

i am constantly hungry today.

11.30am - breakfast
1 hay bee hiam glutonious rice roll, 1 red bean bao flushed down with hot kopi. splendid.

1.30pm - lunch
fish soup with FLY. half eaten fish soup and 1 black fly was dished out from the container. brush the thoughts away and kiap all the fish up to eat. threw the remaining portion away and went to examine the fly. i regretted doing so. it was black with waxed wings and lots of mao mao on his back. i had a stained mentality after that.

2pm - comfort food
finished a bag of famous ANUS cookies, hot from the ANUS. and i felt slightly eased with the chocolate chips.

5pm - dunno what in-btw meals
1 Lor Mai Kai (glutonious rice again!) i think i will die of starchy-ness.
1 cup of milo
no where satisfied

7.30pm - vending machine
1 packet of spicy tapioca chip. not there yet. the packet of calbee spicy potato chips seems to be calling loudly for me "Karen, eat me. EAT ME!!"

Dinner is not settled. I am still typing leisurely in the office, I think its time to pack and go home for hot bee tai mak.

Sigh, I have recently contracted a deadly disease. People call them "Shop-a-holitis"
I think my new neighbour at work is strongly spreading me this disease especially after she has moved over to my cubicle to sit beside me.. Argghh her constant nagging of "Dress Younger, Dress Hip" is drilling into me. So I am like shopping with her more frequently after work.

But the FAT (read: LARD) me is having difficult with compromising size & cost. Cause the normal asian size I cannot fit & the euro sizes cost.

So a bo-liao me on the Sunday afternoon went surfing
here. There are so many so many things I "seems" to like. :P Like these 3 tunics.

If not a nice satin top is ideal too: Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

but but but online shopping does not ship out of UK. Any nice peeps has folks in UK that can help me to recieve parcel and redirect it back to Singapore for me?
It also seems to be cheaper to buy clothes in UK. Avg about 13 to 25pounds? plus 4pounds of shipping only. How come Dor Perkins here sell their tops here so expensive and not at all nice? Sigh..

Okie enough of clothes oogle.

I went shopping with ah eng yesterday. Went to Bugis because we wanted to venture Haji Lane, but it was raining nonstop so we went to AMK instead. Ah eng picked up her 2nd skirt in the entire span of time i know her. She is getting more girlie leh.. :X i asked her if the skirts was for her "dating" - boys dating.. ahahaha lucky never kena smacked.

we walked the whole neighbourhood and i bought sales BATA shoes. $15bucks only for a work pair. that turtle "sar buay sek" sales gal ask her to punch extra hole on the strap she punch slanted. some more can say all 3 holes on the strap are slanted anyway. lucky its sales item, otherwise u see karen jie jie walking out without paying. we ended the trip with venturing into the new amk shopping mall that my colleague told me that there was a new NTUC opened.
Bad move: there are more shop at B1. we ended up buying shoes at Mondo. My 1st pair. I underestimated myself sigh... bought a pair way too slick. I have hard time walking and balancing myself. cannot move too gracefully. But still practise makes perfect. they all say: women are vain, beauty is compromised with comfort. I totally agree..

And talking about girlie: How is a red saucy pair of PVC heels? Weet-a-weet eng mei mei, keep up the girli-ness in you oh! *chuckle & out*

It's a bit late folks for this update.
But still it is good memory.
My usual gang:

and guest appearance Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting gathered at the M Hotel to wrap up 2006 in the lavish manner.
The day started at 10am for me with shopping for the ingredients for food. Followed on by some preparation in the kitchen and packing up for the night stay. Checked in at 6pm with Eng & Hui and made a series of wooo wooowwwss with what greeted us. We got a free upgrade from superior to superior plus. This is where we were housed for a night Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting. Splendid yeah, indeed. But the free upgrade gave us a seaview instead of the cityview, so we faced PSA the whole night and sadly we could only see a few teeny weeny pops of fireworks from the corner of the window. Thank lord, the window did not give way to all the face squeezing we did. :P we were on the 22th.

3 of us went out to do grocery shopping before the rest of the folks join us. Boy the trip was mind boggling with the army of ants crawling thru the Citylink Mall at 9pm. We immediately scram away from the crowd once we were done to return to the hotel. Food prep and munching started not long.

Boy oh boy was I so hungry after the long day I whalloped the entire Subway sandwich with chips and iced cold green tea at 11pm. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Enjoying the food, chat and tv as you can see.

11.45pm, party hats and poppers distributed. TV switched to the news for counting down, time synchronized to ensure we were on the on dot to welcome 2007. The camwhoring started where every1 took out their camera to snap pic when Eve suddenly "yelled" and pointed at the TV. The remaining 6 looked into the TV and saw fireworks. Then the poppers and screaming and cheers came in with the commotion to welcome 2007. All in split seconds. Frankly, we wasn't sure if the clock has already striked 12 midnite and there was no counting down... But anyway that was how we welcomed in the year. In a commotion. :) Well, I hope 2007 is not going to be any commotions for us.

Then came this "feed the chocolate and make your wish" thingy.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting "I wished Kelvin will marry me in 2007. Hikes~ Oh well, I wish I would not remain single in 2007 okie? I think it would come true lah, cos people say "Eat sweet sweet, wishes come true" :P I had Royce Chocs. Sweet indeed... okie I made the "eat sweet sweet" saying up.

The remaing of the evening was spent playing HEART ATTACK with wines, vodka, snacks, my usual screaming on the top of my voice, slapping of the palms till red and itchy, Eve breaking her fingernails and more camwhoring.
Evident: Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I call it a night at 3.30am, too tired from the day event and fell into sleep. With intermittent waking up of Kelvin playing some oldies on the phone or laptop, itch on the skin from the dirty bedsheets and 6am when the 4 who stayed up the whole night left for home.

It was K.O till 9am the next morning which I planned to go for a swim then checking out, but I knocked back to 10.30 which swim was called off. Had a good shower and a walk at the hotel before checking out at 1pm.

Lastly before I end this post, my dear readers.
