work dilemma.. i have made a decision but i am uncertain about it.
well tell me if u were me, would you?
(1) hold a 5days work week from 9-6pm, work 2 saturdays per month from 9-12pm. public holidays not required to work. work in a full fledge bank with more exposures and wider job scopes. gain minimum 2 yrs of experience before the promotion opportunities comes.
OR?
(2) work a 1-9pm shift daily mon to fri. work 3.30-9pm on a sat evening. required to work on public holidays. work in an smrt branch with limited work scope and higher chances of exposures to complain customers, screaming and banging in your face. which indirectly will raise your blood pressure and anxiety and shorten your life. but the chances of promotion can be sped up like in the next 6months time. and the room for negotiation for a pay hike and a shift allowance now would be provided.
we are now balancing between learning exposures, experiences to be gained, time committed to the jobs and the paypocket. you have to of course sacrify some to gain some.
but see i moved out from long hours to seek a regular hours but its only barely 6 months now i am moving myself back to the yo-yo hours. abit contradictoring right?
the money is of course an attractive bait and tell me who does not love those floral floral notes?
hmm i really dunno what's instore for me with the move.
but as per advised. since i've made the decision. i should bite the baton and move forward and excel. rather then dwelling on it.
now the next proceed would be paypack negotitation... whisper into my ears how much is too much to ask for? half a K is that too much to ask for?
